In your own space, rec at least three fanworks that you think would make a good intro into XYZ fandom. Rec a fandom overview, a introductory picspam, stories that define and shape the fandom. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.
I'm going to go with NCIS:Los Angeles because I really think there's not enough good fic out there for this fandom. I don't quite know why, because there's plenty to write about, and there may be more out there than I'm aware of (which is entirely possible. Tell me about it if you know more!).
1) дом by Waldo: This one is a good glimpse at Sam and G's friendship and a little look at some of G's issues. Plus, I love the fact that Waldo called G moving into the Rostoff's house about a year before the show actually did it.
2) A Relative to Truth by Pouncer: Memory and G Callen are sort of tricky things. If you have no memories, then you're a man without a past, and most of the time, that's just who Callen is.
3) With All Your Good Intentions by lady_krysis: This is one of the few stories I've read that's completely Sam-centric. There should be more of these, because Sam's pretty fascinating in his own right.
4) From the Mixed Up, Secretive, Completely Classified Files of Henrietta Lange by maveness: There aren't enough Hetty fics, either. This is the one I like the best of the few I've read.
5) To be complete, here, I should probably rec something that deals with Deeks and Kensi. Thing is, I haven't really read any. So, someone should recommend a good Deeks or a good Kensi or a good Deeks/Kensi story and tell me so I can go read it.
6) Can I rec myself? Probably not really kosher, but I do think my story Five Reasons Why G Trusts Sam is a good introduction to their partnership and how it's possible that Sam is still G's partner when no one else has ever been able to do that.
