Jan. 7th, 2016 09:02 pmOne of the wellness activities I can do to earn money in my medical reimbursement account is some kind of web coaching thing. It's more like, check things off a certain number of days rather than actual coaching, which is fine by me. Strangely enough, the one that looks both the easiest and the least offensive is the healthy eating goal. For that, I just have to track if my eating was "on track" for 21 out of 28 days. It did not define "on track". I mean, I know they mean fruits and veggies and no sweets, whatever, but they didn't say that, and there's nothing that requires me to actually input what I eat at all. So, it would seem to me that I can define "on track" however I want. And since right now, my main goal is to just eat food, that's how I'm defining on track- did I eat at least two meals? Three obviously is preferable, but I'm mostly managing 2, a couple snacks, and something that is between a full meal and a snack.
(The "get happy" goal required you to be happy 21 out of 28 days. I'm pleased if I'm happy for any amount of time over, like, one day. So, not doing that one. The "stress relief" one requires you to have low stress levels for 21 out of 28 days. Yes. Because someone with anxiety can be unstressed for three weeks out of four. Uh-huh. The asthma one wouldn't have been horrible, but it takes 6 months to complete and the likelihood I can remember to do all of the things for six months is basically nil. And the others didn't apply, because they were for conditions that I don't have)
