miss_lucy21- We caught the bottom edge of a big winter storm today. I went to church this morning and there were already 2-3 inches of snow on the ground and close to another inch fell while we were in church (that's...5-7 cm with another 2.5 cm). That's not really so much snow, but it's Sunday and they didn't really pre-treat the roads, so they were starting to get pretty bad. The snow has stopped and it's supposed to shift to rain, but it's only 35F/1C, so that's probably not going to be liquid rain. I might be north enough that it's still going to be snow (one of our main highways is apparently the dividing line, and I'm about 15 miles/24K north of that), which would be better than ice. Tomorrow is going to be messy, probably.
- I was hoping to go mattress shopping today, but that wasn't a good plan. Depending on things I might be able to go Tuesday or Thursday.
- I'm just tired today. Probably not enough sleep. I'm trying to decide if going to be early would be better, or if it would be better to just force myself to stay up until my usual bedtime. It might depend on how entertaining the Super Bowl is. But I do have several things to do before I can go to bed, so it may wind up being the usual bedtime anyway, at the rate I'm going.
