- And cue arctic cold again. The temps dropped yesterday afternoon shortly before I left work and it was colder than I should be out in when I was going home, and so I've been cough-y all day (it's gotten better as the day's gone on, so nothing to worry on). Today when I got up, it was 5F/-15C and I declared it a work from home day, even though it was probably going to get up to something in the safe zone later. Tomorrow, it's going to start out around 30F/-1C, but it's going to drop to a low of -3F/-19C by like, 2pm. With -25F/-31C windchills. Sunday, it's not going to ever get above 8F/-13C with negative windchills as well. I am clearly going nowhere on Sunday. Monday may be acceptable, but fortunately, it's a bank holiday, so I don't have work anyway.
- I might be able to get to the grocery tomorrow morning, but it looks like the window is going to be small and it might be a very snowy window (we're not supposed to get any real accumulation, but there's likely to be whiteout conditions from the wind). Fortunately, Dad said he'd pick up anything I needed when he goes to the store if I couldn't get out. I don't need a whole lot for the moment- if I can get what I need to get set up for the beginning of the week, I can pick up whatever else later on.
-Oh, and my GP's office called to reschedule my appointment on Monday. To late March. I did get them to call in a refill for my birth control because I'm sure as hell not waiting 6 weeks for that. This is not ideal in terms of getting my anti-depressants swapped out, but I think it's not an emergency situation. Besides, by then the rest of things might be more sorted out and it'll be easier to evaluate how well something is working. Right now, I'm not confident I could tell much of anything.
