miss_lucy21- Acetaminophen + 65 mg of caffeine was a bad idea for me. It bounced my blood pressure from 110/60 to 140/90 in about an hour. And made me sleepy (it's an ADHD + Lucy's metabolism is weird thing. The line between "keep me up for 2 days straight" and "knock me out for several hours" is a really thin one). It did give me several almost entirely pain free hours, but not worth the side effects.
- I was hoping the headache would just stay away- it hadn't been really bad when I took the meds. No such luck.
- I discovered Amazon's subscription service today when looking for hand soap refills (getting the fragrance free refills is pretty hit or miss at the store. This time it was a miss, but I need soap). I just set up almost all of my main toiletries, dishwasher and laundry detergent and my Omega 3 and vitamin D supplements (my others are a little more variable. Well, the cranberry's not, but my brand wasn't available as a subscription). You can set how often they send you things. And it will all happen automatically. And it will keep me out of Target, which is a good thing. I would have set up more, except some of the items only ship in bulk and there is no way I am going to store 30 rolls of paper towels in this apartment. And I've been in this apartment since last April and I'm still on the same box of trash bags I bought when I moved in, so I really don't need two boxes of trash bags every couple of months.
- And I just had a brainwave- a couple months ago, I swapped out my Omega 3 supplement for a krill oil supplement that has less Omega 3, but is supposedly more bio-available, so you don't need as much. And when did a lot of these issues start? Right. I decided to get the higher dose Omega 3 capsules when I set up the Amazon subscription because the krill oil ones weren't available in a large bottle, so maybe that'll help? I think I may still have some left of what I was taking before I switched types. I'll have to check the med box. I won't get the Amazon stuff until next week (they send subscriptions on a particular day each month, so it'll take longer than usual), but I could always get a small bottle this week and try if I don't still have some.
