miss_lucy21- Today's attempt at normalcy was renewing my lease, then going to Target to return something and see if I could find some leggings. Target did not have leggings. Or well, they did, just not quite in my size. Meh.
- I was pretty tired when I left Target, but I nudged it just a little to return some library books. I don't have to get out of the car- the book drop is set up to drive up to it- so it was just a little nudge.
- But I did pretty okay for my first solo outing. I stayed up awhile when I got home and was actually hungry when I got home, but I did take a nap. Looks like I slept for about 2 hours, which isn't too bad (my fitbit autorecords my sleep)
- Renewing my lease was relatively painless. Turns out the payment chart I got was accurate- they base the new rent on projected availability. Less projected availability, higher rent. Or something. It's a little...yeah. So, I signed an 8 month lease, because that was the lowest available payment. I mean, I'm not going to pay an additional $25 a month if I don't have to, you know? We'll see what the rates look like in 8 months and go from there. I really don't want to move, but this is a little ridic.
- In other news, my coworkers are sweet. My team here in town sent me cookies (they know me well!), and the people I work with in Chicago mailed me a get well card, which was totally unexpected and made me smile. I've gotten a couple other get well cards, too, actually- the kids I tutor made me a card and so did the other tutors and one of my friends also mailed me a card. Plus, people have been really supportive online, which has also really helped.
- I also started re-watching Leverage tonight. I forgot how much I liked this show- I only saw the first couple of seasons. I'm reliably informed that it gets way better in the later seasons, but yeah, I remember why I started watching it (I stopped watching it more because of time constraints- I was in grad school- than anything to do with the show)
