miss_lucy21Back to work today. Everyone was very, very happy to see me. Or get an email from me- I got several email replies that started with "YES! YOU'RE BACK!". It went pretty well. There was an issue with my Outlook that took about an hour to resolve (there were updates that my laptop didn't pick up yesterday because I was connected remotely and you need to be on a hard line to get updates), but after that, things went pretty smoothly. There was one point just before 1pm where I hit a wall and was having some trouble, but I drank some water and took some deep breaths and I was okay in a couple minutes.
I was only at work until 2pm because I had another post-op follow up appointment. Which also went pretty well. He suctioned more crap out of my nose which was more really weird feeling than painful, mostly (there were a couple painful points and it hurt like hell when he was done). But when I finish my antibiotics tomorrow morning I don't need any more (yay!) and I'm officially cleared to do "anything I want". Which I don't have the energy for, but he said that should start coming back pretty soon.
So I came home after that, ate something so I could have a pain pill (because my face was throbbing by then), took a pain pill and then a nap. Got up around 6:30 when my "hey, did you eat dinner yet?" alarm went off and had some dinner. And now I'm going back to bed (it's 8, which is usual bedtime around here).
