My pepper-zucchini-corn-couscous salad was not bad. It was kind of missing something, though.
(My mother just stopped teaching whatever she's teaching tonight, looked at the ceiling and yelled "Salt" without knowing why. Yes, I am that white girl who doesn't season her food. Sensory Processing Disorder, folks. Trust me, my mother taught me to season my food. I just sometimes can't deal with it)
So, I took a couple tablespoons of olive oil, some lemon juice, some salt and chile powder, whisked it all together and dumped it on tomorrow's serving of salad. We'll see if that works out.
Tomorrow, I see my GP, finally. I think this appointment has been rescheduled three or four times. Goal is to change antidepressants, because even after removing the near-constant headache and accounting for surgery recovery, I'm still struggling more than I should be. I also plan to bring up the fact that my joints have been achy for no apparent reason, because there's a family history of rheumatoid arthritis and well, if anyone in my family is going to wind up with an autoimmune disorder, it's probably going to be me. Nothing's swollen, though, which is one of the key signs, but worth mentioning, at least.
