The good news is almost all of my blood work came back good. No anemia, thyroid function is fine, Vitamin D levels were perfect, blood glucose was 92, which is a bit higher than usual, but still well within normal range (plus, looking at the calendar, chances are really good I ate dinner pretty late the night before so it might not have been a full 12 hours fasting).
The best news is that the rheumatoid arthritis tests came back totally negative. My immune system is not attacking my body. This is Good.
The eh news is my cholesterol is still borderline, but it's borderline in a way that might be fixable with exercise and increasing my Omega 3s. The good news about that is that it doesn't appear that my adding protein (mostly with eggs) or a serving of potato chips made any appreciable difference in the cholesterol levels (I get fewer leg cramps if I eat a handful of potato chips a day. That and the magnesium supplement have done the best job of taking care of the leg and foot cramps of all the things I've ever tried, and trust me, there have been a lot of things I've tried).
The curious news is that my Sed Rate, which is a measure of inflammation, was elevated. This is mostly likely explained by the asthma and the allergies, which were in full force when I did the blood draw. My doctor is not concerned, because the other tests were negative and I don't have any symptoms that would point to a cause that would be reason for concern, but it's kind of curious. But if she's not concerned, I'm not going to worry about it.
I need to keep an eye on my blood pressure because it was pretty high this morning at the doctor's office, but when I got home and took it here, it was normal, so most likely fluky (happens sometimes). But I'll be tracking it for awhile, because apparently Wellbutrin can have high blood pressure as a side effect and if that's the case, it's back to the drawing board. I do have a script for the 300 mg of Wellbutrin, so we'll see.
