I decided to clean out/rearrange the fridge so I could fit the containers for my lunches in there without having to balance them on top of half a dozen other things. This is what I found in my fridge:

- At least 9 bags of shredded cheese (in the two varieties I use the most- mexican blend and pizza blend)
- Three unopened packs of tortillas
- Three cartons of eggs
- Four red peppers
- Multiple cartons of mushrooms (which I tossed, except for one that still looked fine)
- Jello cups that have been in there since I had surgery three months ago
- A couple random baggies of brussels sprouts that I clearly intended to cook and did not
- Some other packs of sliced cheese that were decidedly not edible
- Yogurt
- Half gallon of milk (still good- I used some today making bread)
- beer (for visitors)
- A 12 pack of Diet Coke (also for visitors)
- A nearly empty 12 pack of ginger ale (that's mine)
- Strawberries that really need to get eaten in the next day or so
- A carton of watermelon chunks
- A giant bok choy
- A bag of snap peas
- random jars of jelly, etc.
- butter
- yeast (I bake my own bread almost every week so I buy it by the jar instead of the shelf-stable packets)
- garlic flavored vinegar
- 2 cups of citrus fruit
- soy sauce
- gatorade (for when I need sugar more than salt. There was a bottle of saline in there, too, but I finished it off and haven't made more)

Uh, I think I do not need to buy cheese next week. Or quite possibly the week after that. And I can probably skip the tortillas for a couple weeks. And the eggs, at least next week (I buy eggs a week ahead of when I plan on hard boiling them because they peel easier if they're not fresh).

But hey, now I can fit my lunch containers because I corralled all the cheese.

Lunch this week is brown rice, refried black beans, red peppers and steak, along with peas, fruit and chips. I was also smart and put the baggie of cheese in the container when I filled them (it's a portioned container) so I didn't have to remember it when I assembled the lunch bag every evening. Breakfast will be the usual egg burritos, yogurt, banana. Dinner options will include hard boiled eggs (I make the egg burritos with egg whites only, so no big deal to have eggs for dinner too), bread, cheese, extra egg burritos (the recipe makes 8), fruit, probably left over whatever I do with the bok choy for dinner tonight (most likely stir-fry), and potatoes.
