Sep. 4th, 2015 08:48 pmI am seriously going to need other people in my apartment complex to figure out that the intersection of the road into the complex with the road that goes in front of the office and my building is NOT A LOADING ZONE. OR A PLACE TO SIT AND TALK. THERE WERE FIVE FUCKING PARKING SPACES OPEN. MOVE INTO A FUCKING PARKING SPACE AND CONTINUE YOUR CONVERSATION. YOU ARE BLOCKING THE FUCKING ROAD. I WOULD LIKE TO GO PARK MY DAMN CAR NOW, PLEASE.
(this is a thing that happens frequently, like multiple times a week, as that area is close to the door of two of the buildings, so people tend to sit there and wait for people they're picking up. Instead of just parking. I don't like it in any case, but at least most people try to pull to one side so they're not completely blocking the road and people can at least attempt to get around them. These folks were repacking their car and sitting there having an involved conversation. All of which could have easily been accomplished in a parking space. And yes, I can go around the back of the buildings and get to where I was going but I don't like doing that because it puts me at a bad angle for parking the car when I make the turn into the section of the lot I park in, and also because of the principle of the thing. I did finally go around the back when I'd been sitting there for several minutes and no one was picking up the hint that a car sitting there, inching forward every so often meant that they are blocking.the.fucking.road. They were still there when I parked the car and I was thisclose to walking over there and telling them they are in the middle of the road, but I wasn't sure I could do that without yelling, which is more likely to make people yell back and/or escalate a situation. So I just slammed my car door and my hatch door very, very hard. And came up here to write this.)
(I should probably eat something else. I had pizza, but it was well after I was already hitting the hypoglycemia stage).
