Drabbly Prompting
Feb. 20th, 2010 08:49 pmI have no idea if anyone reads here/follows here, but let's see...
1. You give me a prompt, and if you want, a fandom I know.
2. I write a drabble to your comment.
3. You post these rules in your own blog, so I can return the favour.

Sam had known for a long time that cheap alcohol made G twitchy. Too many people in his life had stood over him with breath reeking of malt liquor and bad scotch. So, when the team wanted to go out drinking, Sam always tried to steer them towards places that had booze G could tolerate. Tonight, this had led them to Mission Cantina, because Kensi had a bit of a thing for the bartender and because G could be amazingly picky about his tequila for someone who will eat anything that’s put in front of him. After the month they’d had, what with losing Dom, botulism and bank robberies, Sam was inclined to let G be picky.
Within an hour, Kensi had gone off to flirt with the bartender and Nate and Eric were attempting to exercise their pick-up skills (which could use the work). This left Sam and G at the table with a flight of pricy tequila between them.
“You can’t toss this back like a shot, Sam,” G said, sipping from one of the tiny glasses. “It’s not Cuervo”.
“Damn, and here I was hoping for some body shots,” Sam replied, raising an eyebrow at his partner.
G laughed. “Maybe later. “

Date: 2010-02-22 02:23 am (UTC)Nothing else, yet. I'm working on a story for Help_Haiti (which I really need to get on finishing- I'm a grad student and school is kicking my ass lately) and I've got a handful of other ideas once I'm done with that one. So, there's more coming, they just haven't arrived yet.
