Trying Something Different
Apr. 17th, 2016 07:30 pmInstead of making a to-do list for things I want to take care of this week, I decided to try to write a list of what I want things to look like a week from now, 7:30 Sunday night, April 24th, before I go back to work on April 25th.
Most of these things are 10-30 minute tasks. Maybe 45-60 minutes for a couple. I think the plan right now is to sleep as much as I need to tomorrow, do one or two of the easy things when I am up, but mostly rest. Tuesday, I think I'll start tackling some of the harder things, but I'm not working for more than 30 minutes at a time, and probably more like 15, and then resting at least as much time as I worked, if not twice as much. Then keep that pattern up until Saturday or I'm finished, whichever happens first, and rest again Saturday and Sunday. That sounds reasonable. And probably do-able.
I want-
- laundry to be done
- Coffee table cleared off
- Living room picked up
- Shelves and tupperware taken care of
- Kitchen counters cleaned
- Sink cleaned
- Stove cleaned
- Trash taken out
- Table cleared off
- A to be done box
- A papers to keep box
- returns taken care of
- Bedroom cleaned up
- Bathrooms cleaned
- Small room at least partly cleaned
- Car cleaned out and organized
- All the floors vacuumed or mopped
- Everything dusted
- Library books back to the library
- Workouts
- Massage
- Art time
- Sleep and rest
