In your own space, ask for recs. Something as simple as "I like XYZ (where XYZ is a kink, a pairing, a trope, etc) - please rec me some." Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.
Still doped up on pain meds, so if something doesn't make sense, I apologize. Inside my head and outside of my head aren't exactly meshing at the moment. Hmm. I do most of my reading in these fandoms right now: SGA, SG-1, Hawaii Five-0, NCIS, NCIS:Los Angeles, Numb3rs, CSI:NY. If you've got anything to rec in any of those, then feel free. Sex is not a requirement for me, but it's fine with me, too. I like things where people do as much thinking as acting, so something with there's no actual action/plot, but a couple people sitting around hashing something out, that's excellent. Um, hard squicks include body waste products, sometimes blood (but sometimes not- a little blood play where it's not really gory and everyone's on board can be ok), incest, and mpreg. Pretty much everything else is a case by case basis.
