NCIS:LA 3.15- Crimeleon
Feb. 17th, 2012 01:41 amOh, I like. I like a lot.
- For the record, I rock. Somewhere around the point at which they were listening to all the recordings from the crimes and talking about the accents, I said, "wait, are we sure Interpol guy is actually who he says he is? He's sure got a funky accent...". But then they threw me the curve with that video and I decided I must have been wrong, but hey! I was so totally not wrong! Not sure if that was supposed to be foreshadowing that everyone picked up on or what, but I still felt pretty good about myself. It's the little things, somedays. Anyway.
- Well, G's certainly not going home anytime soon. I'm sure he's smarter than to take a wall hanging from Hetty's office for a blanket, though. But he's definitely freaked out. If the guy had just said, "I'm going to kill you", he probably would have been a little wary, but not all that scared. There's plenty of people who have wanted to kill G, as Sam said. But the guy said "I know where you live," and "I know who you care about". Those two things are pretty much guaranteed to shut G right down. Which makes me a little sad, because honestly, it seems like he's put a lot of really hard work into things like having a home (ok, he doesn't have any furniture, but he's had the same address for a year-plus. That's a pretty big deal) and having people he cares about, and being a good team leader (i.e., being reachable and not going off on his own like he had a reputation for doing during "Legend"). There have been some really positive changes in him over the past two and a half seasons, and this has the potential to blow all of that out of the water.
- I was warming up to Granger a little at the end. I'm starting to think he's been handling them all badly on purpose, although I'm not entirely sure what purpose that would be. Perhaps it will become clearer? But yeah, definitely some history there with Hetty (which I think everyone had already picked up on. G did not look surprised, at any rate, but he rarely does).
- I am really excited that Kensi's going to get a story arc. From the looks of the episode list on Wikipedia, it's going to be a 2 part episode, too. They've been doing a pretty decent job of building up to this over the course of the season, too, which I particularly like.
So, yeah, really happy here. Actually, I've been pretty happy with this entire season, for the most part.
