- Oh, my heart. Scott Caan played this episode perfectly. Just perfectly

- Peterson can't have been watching Danny all that closely. Because if he had, he would have realized that messing with Grace would not only about kill Danny, but you'd get Steve McGarrett right on your ass. Don't mess with the boyfriend, dude. (Steve and Danny are even more married than G and Sam are. Catherine, et al, aside).

- I totally thought Stan was going to say something like, "it's for Grace, go ahead and shoot me" right before Danny put the bullet through his shoulder. Which made up for the fact that the guy was at work the whole time and not down at HPD with his wife and their newborn.

- I can't be the only person who wanted to kick the tennis instructor's ass. Anytime I've ever worked with kids, it's always been emphasized that you do NOT let the kid go with ANYONE who is not on the list of people allowed to pick up the child. At least *call* Rachel or whatever emergency number you've got for the kid and double check first. Particularly if the kid is confused. It's not like Grace didn't have a phone with all the numbers right there with her, it would have taken ten seconds to make the call and all of it would have been avoided (yeah, yeah, no plot then. I know). And he didn't even check for ID! Methinks Grace is going to have a new tennis instructor. And a long conversation with Mom and Dad about who is allowed to pick her up, although I doubt she'll ever go with an adult she doesn't know ever again. Poor kiddo.

- So, uh, is Danny going to get charged for assault on Peterson? Because that was a little over the line. Understandable, but a bit too far.

2.16:I Helu Pu

- Nice threads, folks. Y'all clean up nice. Although I did notice that the very first thing Steve did when they found the dead girl was pull his tie apart. I think he was hoping Denning would let him shut everything down so he could get changed at the very least.

- Ok, yes, I did get faked out in the early ER scene. Although, I couldn't figure out why Kono would need a sample of Steve's blood, because they've surely got his DNA profile on hand. Which probably should have been my clue.

- There were several points at which I said, "um, guys, Governor? Said he wanted to be kept in the loop? This does not look like "in the loop" to me…", which was the point, but seriously I do get really tired of the hijinx sometimes. Lori's right- she kept her mouth shut way more than she should have done. They do go over the line too often. It was somewhat amusing last season, but it's starting to wear a little thin. I don't expect realism out of this particular show in the same way I do out of some other crime dramas, but there's over the top, and then there's just abuse of power and they get reeeealy close to that line a little more often than is necessary.

- I am not overly unhappy that Lori is leaving. I didn't dislike her, but I didn't really click with her, either. And I thought 5 was unwieldy and meant that other people *coughs*Kono*cough* were way underutilized. The formula worked last season. Stop messing with it.
