Criminal Minds 7.16- "A Family Affair"
Apr. 2nd, 2012 08:16 pmI don't do commentary for Criminal Minds because I'm much more casual about it than the other shows I watch (and hence more behind, given that I just saw the episode from 2/29...).
But this episode gets a comment. Not because of the case- the case is definitely in the running for the second most disturbing episode of the season, and I really don't want to think about it any further than that. The thing that made the episode worth watching, however, was the beginning and the ending with Hotch and his girlfriend and the end with the triathlon. Hotch was smiling. He was happy. I swear to God, the man has not smiled for real in at least four years. It looked so good on him that I almost cried (why, yes, I am a sap sometimes...) I'm hoping this is a trend, because if anyone deserves a bit of a break from being dour and battered, it's Aaron Hotchner.
