miss_lucy21Ion TV (cable channel. I'm not sure if it's regional or not) has Criminal Minds reruns every night. They cycle through the first five, maybe 6 seasons and right now, they're on season 1. Tonight's offering is "The Fisher King", which is one of my personal favorites. But watching it is reminding me why I fell in love with the show when I first started watching. See, the current season has just been bloody and disturbingly gruesome. It did not used to be that way. Violent, yes. Psychologically freaky, absolutely. But not horror movie gross. If they don't dial it back on the gore, I'm not sure I can keep watching the show, which would make me sad, because I do still care about the characters an awful lot.
