Okay, NOW I'm caught up

Since I'm pretty sure there was no episode last night (I think it was the Rudolph Christmas special. I was watching new Storage Wars, though, so I have no idea). Still knitting, so no notes, but this is what caught my eye:

• • Deeks and Kensi do undercover very cute, and Lord knows there's tension there, but I think they'd be better as friends who occasionally have benefits than anything else. In which case, could they please just move on to the benefits part of things and relax already?
  • It was interesting that it was Kensi who got twitchy when G went in to talk to the former foster kid. I think she really doesn't want to know, and I can't decide if it's because it's too close to home or if it's a but for the grace of God sort of thing (what did happen with Kensi after her father died that led to her running away? And what happened after that, because I did not get the impression that she would have been 18 yet after that episode). Or, she doesn't like invading G's privacy (Deeks's privacy, that's something else altogether). But it's not like G would have been saying anything that they either did not know or that he did not want them to know. He knew they were out there and he would have assumed that what he said would be available to others even if they hadn't been, because G just doesn't say things if he doesn't want them known. 
  • Oh, Sam. My friend, you are a geek, whether you'd like to admit it or not. There are many different varieties of geek, you know. 
  • One would think that Hetty, at least, would know by now that if she doesn't want G poking around in things that he should not be poking around in, she needs to give him a better answer than "you don't need to know". And that doing unusual things are just going to set his alarms off, and once G's alarm bells are ringing, he's going to find out why. It's compulsive with him; he can't help it, particularly where Hetty is concerned. And since Hetty is not exactly an idiot, I can't help but think she triggered him on purpose as a back up plan. 
  • Hmm. So, yeah, Fatima pretty much did exactly what Kensi did. That maybe is going to sting a little for awhile. 
  • Nell's newfound football love cracked me up. I'm a Browns fan, but so far as I could tell, they did get the details right for being a Jets fan. Although G as a Pats fan was a bit, um, sure, okay. 
  • G's whole thing about golf was amusing, particularly when Sam says he couldn't see G as a golf guy (neither can I, really) and G goes, yeah, never played a hole in my life, because it's too scary. Only G, you know?
