OMG, March!
Mar. 10th, 2013 01:41 pmIt is SIXTY DEGREES! And NOT RAINING OR SNOWING! Okay, it's not sunny, either, but I live in Central Ohio, which has more overcast days than Seattle, which kind of explains my truly pitiful Vitamin D levels.
But, I got gas today without shivering. I didn't wear a coat to church.
Now, watch, it'll go back to being 35 again tomorrow because I'm really just that lucky, but hey, I will take my one day of open windows and no coats. Might just take my tutoring kids outside with a soccer ball this afternoon (Sunday tutoring is more for their parents as extra reading instruction- we found out that a lot of them aren't literate, even in their native languages. Most of the kids don't get weekend homework yet, so we do enrichment activities and play games. Or just play games, depending on how ambitious I'm feeling, since I wind up being more or less in charge). If it's still not raining by then, we may just do that, because I'm not really in the mood to drag them through reading comprehension activities this afternoon. I'm time-change jetlagged.
