Ohhhhhhhhhh

miss_lucy21So, I've been stuck on chapter 5 of The Casefic for, God, months. Because the order I wrote it in isn't the order things should take place, for one, and for another, it was missing a scene and I couldn't figure out what exactly that scene is. And because Deeks wasn't talking (yeah, I know, you'd think you wouldn't be able to shut him up. But no).
All of a sudden this afternoon while I was napping, I realized what was supposed to happen in that missing scene. And it's not Deeks I need to talk to, it's Kensi. Even though the chapter's from Deeks' POV, he's reacting to Kensi being deliberately dense in a way that's pissing him off. So I have to figure out what Kensi being deliberately dense looks like. That's a challenge in itself, but it's a better direction than I had earlier.
See, this is why naps are good things!
