...I am so incredibly sore.

Well, no, scratch that. Yesterday I was so incredibly sore. I am moderately better today in that I am mostly not hissing every time I lift my legs or try to stand up. Apparently, last night's hot shower + Tramadol + foam roller + Recovery/Legs Up the Wall Pose combined with this mornings swim + hot tub + Advil did actually garner me some improvement. I may do another round of hot shower/Tramadol/foam roller/Recover Pose tonight.

But! I was not last. I was 5th from last. Or, 68th out of 72, but I kind of think 5th from last sounds better. I was actually 58th in the swim, which isn't terrible by far. I was pretty much last in the other two events though. That was more or less to be expected- I didn't train nearly as much for either of them and I slacked off on the bike training immensely by the end. But- Not Last. I will take it.

I've been saying that I don't know if I want to do it again, but. um. Maybe? Talk to me in a few weeks after my legs stop hurting and I get through the worst of allergy season.

Best treatment for delayed-onset muscle soreness is *drumroll* the same activity that caused it. No, really. Walking around a lot: best thing to do the day after that sort of activity.
