I'm recording this stuff this week for my own edification, although I don't mind if people comment (I also don't mind if you effectively put me on ignore this week, either). But doing it as a my eyes only entry doesn't work for me in terms of brain dumping from my head. I have no idea why, but well, quirky. Basically, I am feeling a little overly flaky and I'd like to see if I can determine why. I'm trying to be a dispassionate observer and not judge (which is really hard and why I'm writing it down because otherwise there'd be no chance). So I'm going to write down what I did all day (well, sort of. I legally can't discuss any real specifics of what I do at work, so that's going to be mostly, I did work) and what I ate and let's see if there's any patterns this week to work with.

- The alarm went off at 5:50, I hit snooze for 10 minutes (I always do- I need transition time)

- I got up when the alarm went off again and did my quick flexibility work (hamstring stretches and twists, takes about 5 minutes)

- I went downstairs, made breakfast (bowl of Wheaties with raisins and skim milk), and checked my email, Facebook, blogs, etc. while I ate. Then I answered a couple tag emails. (takes about eh, 30-35 minutes)

- I packed my lunch (takes about 5 minutes)

- went back up to do my hair (just wet it down and blow dried it), put on makeup and take my meds (takes about 5-10 minutes)

- got dressed (minor problem- I had to hunt down clothes and wound up wearing a shirt I hate because it was the only one I could find to go with the pants I located- the pants have a herringbone pattern, so they need a solid shirt) This generally takes about 30 seconds, but took longer today because I had to find clothes.

-found my shoes, grabbed my bag and left the house at 7

- got to work at 7:45 (that's about 10-15 minutes later than usual- there was an accident on the freeway and I had to get off at a different exit and take a longer route to my office)

- did my "getting into work routine": put my computer on the deck and boot it up (I have a laptop that comes home with me), go to the pantry and put my lunch in the fridge, fill up my water bottle, say hi to people, etc.

- ate my yogurt (Greek non-fat yogurt)

- read email, did some work, had a meeting

- took a 5 minute break to make some oatmeal around 9:45, ate the oatmeal (duh)

- Ordered my meds at the drugstore to pick up at lunch. Then had to call the drugstore because I put down the wrong date to pick them up. Discovered I'd forgotten my cell phone.

- had another meeting, worked until 12

- ate lunch at 12 (bread, hard boiled eggs, chips and a chocolate bar- usually there's fruit involved here, but I forgot to pack any today)

- Went to the drug store to pick up my meds and some other things to restock some of my supplies at work (ibuprofen, bandaids for my first aid kit, etc.) Discovered I need to call my insurance company, because something was screwy with my co-pay, but that will have to wait for tomorrow because I am not calling them from my desk and I didn't have my phone. My office is a fishbowl and I don't want to argue with the insurance where everyone can hear me.

- Did more work, ate some chips and guac around 2:15 (my coworker brought some in from home). Had a handful of pretzels around 4

- Left work at 5

- got to tutoring around 5:35 (tutoring is several exits before my exit for home, for reference)

- got home around 7:25-ish.

- Tried to call and deal with a bill, but the office was closed. Will need to do asap in the morning.

- ate dinner- bacon wrapped hot dog left over from last night, chips, apple. Helped out my dad who was going hypoglycemic (he's fine. This happens a couple times a month)

- sat down to type this, finished around 8:15.

Things left to do tonight:
- pack tomorrow's lunch
- find clothes for tomorrow (there's clean laundry, I just don't know what's in it)
- more flexibility work (hamstrings, quads, glutes, supine twists)
- bedtime routine starts at 8:45-9 : shower, meds- I need to fill the pill box, Bible/pray, read knitting books to wind down (no, really. I've discovered that how-to books and knitting patterns work really well. I save things with plot and arguments/theses for nights I don't have to be up in the morning, because otherwise I don't always fall asleep on time).

Lights out is usually between 9:30 and 10. I'm generally asleep by 10:15 on a good night (let's not discuss the bad nights).
