I seriously think everyone should be granted one weekday a month to deal with administrative tasks instead of going to work. This whole business of dealing with non-work stuff was so much easier on a student schedule or a retail schedule as opposed to a 40 hour, 8-5 Monday-Friday workweek. Fortunately, I get copious amounts of vacation time (seriously, I got 3 weeks this year and I'll get 4 next year) so I can schedule my own Administrivia Days.

On today's docket:

1) Call up the handful of creditors on my credit report that I have apparently not paid and have stopped receiving notices from, probably because I keep moving (no, I am not moving to avoid my creditors. I just move a lot). So far I have been successful in paying off two very small debts to an urgent care I visited in 2011. One of them is apparently due to a library and I have to wait until the library is open to find out where to send the payment, so I'm writing this while I'm waiting (it's 11:20, library opens at noon). I was also successful in paying one of the debts that is listed twice for some reason over the weekend (I paid bills on Saturday. Mostly doctors, and mostly before they went to collections, which is not something I've been able to do up to this point, largely because I never had any money when the bills came).

2) Laundry.

3) Post office to mail package

4) Dentist appointment. I have not been to a dentist since *at least* 2006- it may actually be longer, because I may be mis-remembering the actual time of the last dentist visit that I remember. But I think it was 2006. It can't have been any later than about April of 2007, since that was the last time I had dental insurance before now. I'm pretty sure there's nothing extraordinarily wrong with my teeth- nothing hurts. I may have cracked a filling on a tooth that has a cavity that's been refilled about three times because I grind my teeth, because that tooth gets really sensitive sometimes, but that's really the extent of what I'm expecting (watch, now I'll need like, 5 root canals or something). At any rate, anything that's not covered by a reasonably small co-pay is going to wait until next year when I have flexible spending dollars in my account.

5) It would be nice to bake some bread or something, but since I slept in, I think I do not have time for that. But the sleep was good- I haven't been sleeping well due to the sciatica (the muscle pain is basically gone. It's all nerve pain now and nothing really helps that all that much).

6) I should get a swim workout in, but I think there's time between the dentist and tutoring tonight. We'll see.
