I hate winter.

miss_lucy21We got mmm, maybe 2-3 inches of snow overnight. I don't think I knew that was going to happen. Apparently the people who plow and salt the streets also did not know that was going to happen, judging by the condition of the roads this morning.
It took me 2 hours and 10 minutes to get to work. TWO HOURS. Plus. To drive 25 miles. Which means my average speed was under 25 miles per hour (or ~40 kph, for my metric friends).
[Um, yes, I was late to work. By an hour- I usually leave about an hour before I need to be there because the traffic can be iffy, but I usually make it there in about 35-40 minutes]
God, I miss Cleveland. In Cleveland, this would have been not a Thing. In Central Ohio, this is a thing. Fortunately, it stopped snowing well before I actually arrived at work and they got the streets cleared and I got home in the usual amount of time.
