I may be through all the boxes that were in the basement (i.e., the boxes of things I haven't seen in at least 5+ years. Some of it was more like 10+). One trunk wasn't mine (it's my brother's), so that was amusing. I hauled the trash to the garage and I now have a pretty decent stack of empty boxes and totes. The totes mostly need washed out (apparently there was a mousie in the basement at some point), but then I can probably consolidate some things into them. I think the focus for during the week is the things that need washed- there's a couple bags of towels and blankets and some things from the kitchen that just got chucked into a box. If I do a load of laundry a couple of nights and wash some of these things a couple of nights, I can probably have them packed up and ready to go.

Not bad for a first go, although the room looks like a hurricane has hit it.
