Election Night

miss_lucy21And normally, I'd be all over the returns, because I used to really be into politics, but this year, I just can't (although I did already see on Twitter that my state governor, whom I loathe, got re-elected. That is not a surprise, though. It wasn't even hardly a race at all- his challenger was not a strong candidate and I'm kind of irritated with the Democratic party in Ohio that they couldn't find a better candidate).
But I have pretty much no expectation that anything good will come out of this set of Midterms and no expectation that anything will actually change in the federal government. Which makes me very sad. I kind of miss having actual hope.
